Finish Radio will need to tell Control: When each Official Car comes out The time out of the zero car The time and number of the first car out The time and number of the first car out after any stoppage The numbers of the last 3 cars out, time of the last and total of cars out Keep a note of cars stuck in stage so you can balance the figure out with the figure in. In fact, you can impress everyone with your efficiency if you end your finish details with "Car x still in stage at Post y"! Not only is it efficient but it gives Control information from a different source to check against the Control sheets. Before the radio check you will need to check on, and if necessary help towards, the readiness of the finish timing crew. During the radio check tell Control if the finish crew is ready to run, if they are not ready give an estimate of the ready time. And tell Control where you are going before you race off to offer help to speed up the ready time!
